The Current series on Wednesday Nights is "Gut Check." John, Jesus' Best Friend, was an old man when he wrote his first letter to the church, most likely 85 years old or so. He has witnessed the death and resurection of Jesus, seen the church grow from nothing, experienced hardship, persecution and the death of his friends. In times of spiritual confusion his voice is like a gut check to a confused generation. In a world of darkness he calls the church to know the truth, live out the truth with passion and to walk in and be the light of the world. 

We also live in a time of spiritual confusion. What does it mean to be a follower of Christ? How are we supposed to act? What can we get away with? Join us on Wednesday nights and let John's words in 1 John be a splash of cold water in your face as we continue to urge each other on in our faith.
